Imagine you’re running your very first half marathon.
You’ve arrived at your first race expo excited but nervous … in less than 24 hours, you’ll be approaching the starting line. With every step toward the table to receive your race bib, your heartbeat quickens like it’s already race day.
Then something catches your side vision and you realize something greater. For the first time in your life you’re in the same room with an Olympian. Jeff Galloway, one of the nation’s top leaders in running is at the expo giving advice.
You decide you have to meet him and though you don’t say much because you’re so nervous, you’re still affected by his energy; his motivational force of positivity.
Just standing next to him for those precious moments you realize that you can run this half marathon race. You buy his book and on the inside cover he writes just for you, “Stay positive!” which are the two words that will drive you to the race’s starting line.
This was my first experience meeting Jeff Galloway and now it’s your turn.
